First time i heard this album, i was like "woah", words cant describe how good this album is, but let me just put it this way, the first time i heard this album, i could not stop listening to it...there have been times where i've listened to this album for over a week continuously, even in my sleep...this album is so good, i would actually buy another copy if my original got scratched, again and again and again, etc etc...
the flow, the wordplay, the beats, the content...its all there, 200%
get this album, you most definately wont regret it
Peace!
Near Classic Album.

Best Album from Talib Kweli, hi-tek made some really nice beats + great lyrics from kweli.
Look out for his new album called Eardrum.
one word - Classic!

Ok, so this cd is old enough now,
but speaking in hiphopications - its dope as the pope!
This arguably Kweli's strongest project, potentially competing with the Blackstar project (with Mos Def).
Hi-Tek's beats act as soundscapes for the myriad of artists making appearances on the project.
It's hard to choose stand out tracks on this, as everyone is incredible, including the skits with Nelson Mandela bigging up the duo!
BUT! Sweet Memories is a very very strong contender!
Talib's lyrics sum to sum up his musical career and life in 3 perfectly formed verses.
Good lookin out if you make the wise choice of purchasing this project,
for this is a true piece of hip hop history!
peace
