  Waste of money!!

This album is poor, poor, pooooor!!!
Nowt like their previous releases, if you're a fan juat stick to the stuff that made you love them in the first place and give this a big fat miss. Big money waster is this and if i could've given it no stars i would've!!
I can't even give you specifics on the songs on the album because it's that bad i couldn't bring myself to listen to it all.

I'm not convinced about this album. While some of the things they've tried work really well, like the machine influence on wretches and kings, others haven't. There was a lot of what i call bridge songs, where they are about 30 seconds long and don't really have any vocal, music, rapping or screaming or any of the things that i love about lp, but are just there to tie one song into the next one. I counted up and it seemed like there was only maybe 4 or 5 full songs on the album.
A disapointment to say the least.

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea...

I liked it as soon as I heared it, especially track 8, tracks 3, 4 and 5 go linked together and so do tracks 6, 7 and 8, Linkin Park have reached a landmark with this album, where they obviously can record any human feeling, in this case the feeling of being helpless and angry just about that!

  A Change but still great!

Yes I know that Linkin Park have used a different style in music and people are giving this album kinda bad reviews, I actually can not see why they don't like it. The music style has changed and it is not so much 'Rock' now but the songs still have a good tone and tell a good story as all the songs are linked after each other. I really like this but this is my opinion, if you're not so sure about buying it i would look up some of their songs before buying it. It might not be for you!

A different direction, but just as good...

This new chapter sparks a new direction for Linkin Park, but it's still just as good as their brilliant old material. O.K it's different, and some songs are really dark and depressing, but the songs are really moving and effective. Songs like Burning In The Skies, Robot Boy, Waiting For The End, Irdescent and The Catalyst are personal favourites. There aren't many full songs on the album, only 9 in total, but they are all really gripping. It's different to Hybrid Theory and Meteroa, but still just as good

  LP's Best Album So Far...

I personally feel this album deserves 5 out of 5, however I can understand why certain people will dislike it.

In order to appreciate it you've got to be open minded and listen to the album AS A WHOLE. This is an ALBUM not just a selection of songs or snippets of sound effects.

This is Linkin Park's version of Dark Side of the Moon.

It is impossible make any literal comparisons with Pink Floyd's masterpiece but LP have produced a similar experience with A Thousand Suns.

My favourite Linkin Park album by far!

  A Musical Journey!

First of all you have to accept LP are doing what they want musically which is to create a concept album! And secondly, you should listen to it like any concept album, from start to finish without skipping through tracks. It is my favourite LP album because it reflects the way socialty its today and attempts to point out some of the problems within it. Then again music is art and you should decided for yourself what it means to you. It is just an awesome musical journey! give it a listen you may just love it! Thanks for reading.

Don't know which band is playing on this album but it ain't the Linkin Park that I know! sounds nothing like anything they have released before and it just doesn't work. Half the songs are not even full songs, I pre-ordered this as I love LP and seen them live several times but I can honestly say this album is now gathering dust on the shelf. No more of this please !

  new material

i personally like this album but know it wont be to every one's cup of tea, its not like there old stuff, which i personally like that they have stepped out and shown they can do more, which keeps my mates quite when they say its just screaming and head banging

  absolute garbage

I bought this album, after listening to many previous albums and enjoying them, but this,,,is garbage. Its not Linkin Park, not in a million years. Do not buy it. Waste of money!! Its far too LIGHT, not Rock at all.
