When I first heard this album I wasn't happy with it. I LOVE Linkin Park so this felt like a bit of a let down compared to their previous work. BUT after seeing them live in November and listening to them play it on stage I am in love again and I do enjoy this album. I love the dvd that comes with it. Looking forward to what they do next ...

  Awesome!!

At first this album was a bit depressing!
but the more and more I listened to it the better it sounded, its a big change for Linkin Park so if you decide to buy this album GIVE IT a CHANCE!

I love linkin park, i have all their work, but I've listened to it numerous times and maybe its just a step too far for me in the music evolution. I like some of the songs, but I enjoy their old stuff much more. The album by Dead By Sunrise I found very pleasing.

I agree with a few things here especially that fact that you MUST listen to this album a few times and understand that Linkin Park are moving on. At first i really turned my nose up at it but i realised i was just being ignorant. This is a well accomplished album. Its a fantastic, well constructed, cubastial album of genius. I have listened to it so many times and almost took up an interest in politics. ALMOST

I never though Linkin Park would ever make an album like this , I listen mainly to Rock & Metal but also Hip-Hop and some electro stuff so i'm quite open minded. Upon first listen it didn't seem to good an album but after a second listen i descovered how amazing this album really is. There isn't much out like it. They've taken a risk & pulled it off. Amazing album.

  Listen it a few times

Half of the songs on it aren't even songs but it does have 2-3 good songs on it. that's it.

Still 5* though as LP wouldn't release a piece of garbage though, would they?
Listen to the lyrics....

Firstly this album is completely different to previous Linkin Park albums and any other album i have heard! First time I listened to it I wasn't sure if it was pure genius or tbh rubbish! But the more I listen to it the more I love it! I do miss Linkin Parks old style but I do love this new style and that they experiment and aren't afraid to try new stuff! Give this album a few listens before dismissing it!

If you dont like Mintues to midnight you wont like this

I have been a Linkin park fan from the very start I even joined the fan club at one stage. This album I believe is below poor standard for Linkin park. They have released some fantastic albums but they have changed. half the songs on this album are very short or they are not really songs.

There are 2 good songs in my eyes.

Worth a try but it is not my cup of tea

An incredible, different and addictive album!

Sure this album is nothing like any of their other 'classic' albums such as Hybrid Theory and Meteora, but it's a highly welcome change in my eyes.
The voice samples from political figures are perfectly woven into their new sound and works phenomonally. I urge anyone who is a fan of LPs old stuff (not so much minutes to midnight, although there are a few sounds as mellow as that record) to buy this album!
