Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars beatles 'love' album

very good album shows that mono can be converted to stereo if it done properly .Anyone who had heard I wanna hold your hand on past masters vol1 will know what i mean it sounds bad just listen to the 'clapping' way out in the fore ground instead of in the back ground. I wanna hold your hand on the 'love' album shows it can be done pity its not the full version. I have all the beatles records but still found this worth buying and as others have said before many sound even better.
The reason most people want the 'old' stuff in mono is because who ever converts these tracks dont do a good job of it. Great album.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars sounds better than ever- for fans only

As a fan I have to say it was great to hear this CD. I am sure there are many fans that will hate this the ones that like to hear the beatles in Mono only would probabley burn the producers at the stake. However listen to this as a different look at the song, Drive my car mixes in the vocal to the word and girl what your doing, it sounds like a new song. They use the demo version of while my guitar gently wheeps and its like a complete different version and it is beutiful. The strangest thing Octopus's garden is well with an Orcestra and wow great. if you are a fan do buy this, but I would say that if you have never been into the Beatles or have no albums buy No 1's instead, All i can say is I can't wait for EMI to realise the new remastered versions of the Beatles albums then they can all sound as clear as this great album

I bought this CD to get in to the Beatles since they are a bit before my time. This CD has been digitally remastered to sound like it was recorded recently; and it sounds great. Good collection of tracks with many tracks that were really popular. Wouldn't reccommend for a long-time fan of the Beatles though since this is deffinately a 'starter' album, but if you don't own a Beatles album you should deffinately give this one a go to see what they were really about (If you're new to the Beatles you might find it hard to appreciate their music because the recordings sound quite out-dated due to recording technology at the time; not the talent).

Having been played Beatles all my life (my parents were big fans) I pretty knew what to expect when I herd this - how wrong I was. Put simply, this album is Amazing! Never before has anyone heard the Beatles like this (unless you were lucky enough to see them play live - I missed that era). What George and Giles Martin have done here is truly staggering, the sound quality and remixes simply add another dimension to what already was some of the greatest songs ever written. I can only recommend that you buy the album and listen for yourself - you wont be disappointed.

This one should be in the collection of all Beatles fans. Sure, it doesn't bring the original versions of the songs, but who'd want that, as they already are in all of our collections?

Love is The Beatles stripped down, rebuilt and remastered by George and Giles Martin. At times, it is annoying, but mostly it's a welcome gift to the ears. Track number 10 (Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite/I want you/Helter Skelter) should be used in all music schools around the globe. That mix is perhaps The Beatles in a nutshell...
