What Lies Beneath (2CD Deluxe Edition)

iv just got this cd today! and tarja has gone a great great job! i love this cd! but on the back it says theres a video about her talking about the cd. I havent got that and cant find it! :( so that was a dower tbh. but otherwise the cd is great! its a MUST BUY!

So happy I have a copy of this. If you're thinking of getting this you already know Tarja so you'll know already how brilliantly she fuses her angelic full power soprano voice to the hard and soft sounds of her masterpieces. The second bonus CD also includes a video showing you a little into the making of the album and gives you a peek behind the scenes at Tarja having a great time making this album and it shows. If anyone has trouble finding the video it's a dual format CD, you have to use a PC to browse the files and there you will find the video, Enjpy! I know I am.

I'm very impressed with this - it has been played continually!
A much heavier album that her previous one, it has tots of drive and passion - and is an excellent high quality recording too! None of the usual 'all the same level compression'; this is a VERY dynamic and exciting album.
Tarja's amazing voice is captured perfectly as she ranges over a veriety of styles of music - but all a lot darker and heavier that what we have heard from her before - I love it!
It makes her Nightwish songs sound a little tame by comparison.
Anteroom of Death is a querky wierdly heavy one when you don't expect it.
Until my Last Breath has a pace and drive that carries you through it into some dark and interesting places. Tarja seems to be exploring soem very interesting places on this album in general.
The more listful 'I feel immortal' is nonetheless anoth heavy one later into it.
Other particularly outstanding tracks are 'Dark Star', 'Falling Awake' and the very dark and moody 'Crimson Deep'.
A must buy -enjoy!
