A great album, easy to delve in if you're already a fan. It sounds like they've taken the sounds from all of their albums from the earliest work to the last one, and rolled them into different songs here, to make an interesting listen from dub/punk through to industrial/euro disco and metal.
As for the extra cd, what a load of $@&#! May as well just get the album itself, as there are only a few tracks worth listening to on this so-called tribute.
Great songs spoiled by terrible production / mastering.
You start off listening to it loud and have to keep on turning it down.
I have other CDs that sound MUCH better than this and can be turned up to the max.
When are mastering engineers going to learn that you do not have to compress everything - dynamics is a good thing.
finally. the comeback of one of the greatest postpunk bands that still have something to say, and of my enthusiasm for buying "physical" music. this is the first CD I have bought in the last 3 years. why? because this is one of the greatest punk albums of the decade and I want to keep it in my hands, too. the deluxe version is definitely worth the price.
