A classic in my opinion, personally have no idea why they have changed their sound so much for Black Parade, this and 3 cheers are far better, although good feel it was a bit of let down in comparrison.

I'm no expert on music but if you like music filled with emotion and feeling then this is an album you must buy. If you like this try 30 seconds to mars you might like them.

'The Black Parade' is seriously overrated. Why should it be when this album and '3 Cheers' are so much better? I really love this album because it's very raw and they haven't played with Gerard's voice. It sounds more like they should do when play live. I recommend buying this if you're a fan of Aiden's; Our Gang's Dark Oath, because these two albums sound pretty similar.

My Chemical Romance have made some fine albums before and after this, and this is their best work.

Featuring kick-ass songs this CD is probably the purest in terms of style of My Chemical Romance.

However I would say that this CD and Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge NEED to be bought together - considering they are both linked. Both are meant to be a storey when combined.

I love MCR, I love all their albums, but this is their best album by far. The sound is so raw and emotional and Gerards voice is amazing, not as over produced as the other 2 albums. Best songs on the album are tracks 2,3,4,6,8 and 11 (in my opinion) but love them all. Only negative side of things is it isn`t long enough, not as long as their other albums, with only 11 songs. A definite must have!

This is the first album form my chemical romance and all in all is very good. Fans of the black parade may be disappointed however as their sound is alot more raw on this record and rythmic based, but it works out just as good. 2-6 on this album are the MCR classics, with 'Vampires will never hurt you' as the ultimate, and in my opinion, best my chem song to date. Although the band have developed and matured their music over the years, this album still packs some great songs with the same great lyrics and musical talent found in all MCR's albums. I only gave this 4 stars however because I think 'Bullets' is slightly over shadowed by 'revenge' and 'the black parade'. All the same I still think this is a essential for any my chem fan and it definately supplies some of their best tracks, even though this album is generally forgotten. Give it a try.
