Turn It Up (Louder)

I finally made up my mind to buy this CD and now I'm wondering why I hadn't done it long before now!! It's an excellent album of both original songs and covers. Love the cover of Kings of Leon's 'Use Somebody'. It has a nice sultry feel about it and is in stark contrast to the original. Overall, it's a good album and should be in any music lover's collection.

Pixie Lott re-releases her successful debut album Turn It Up a year after it's release. The original album produced two number 1's and three other top 20 hits. Singles include, Mama Do, Boys and girls, Cry me Out, Gravity and Turn It up.

While some say that re-release are a way to make more money by adding one or two songs, this couldn't be far from it. The re-release adds 10 more songs. Two of them are cover versions while the other eight are brand new original songs including the single Broken Arrow and a collaboration with Jason Derulo.

While the original was good, the new songs give the album a new kick. The new songs contain more ballads as well as a few upbeat ones and show Pixie's vocals off well. Especially Without you which is a fantastic heartbreaking song that every teenage girl could possibly identify with.

With Pixie's soulful voice enough to make you fall in love with her, this album is a must for any Pop fan. For an album written by a teenage at the time of release, the album is rather mature and it isn't just just a typical teen pop album full of teenage issues. So anyone of all ages won't be put off.

This album is superb and every track is different plus 10 bonus tracks well worth it keep doing some more albums pixie.

Turn It Up Louder is such a superb album and flows with every single track, well worth buying especially at the price of 3.99. Pixie Lott gets better and better.
