This is a genius album. Excellent to settle down to after a hard days work with a good bottle of red wine. Some say meloncholy, i say the best musical and lyrical album put together in the last twenty years. Enjoy!

A superb album of ballads. The first track is reason for 5* alone never mind any of the rest of the content.

Personally, i think this is his best album: Very coherent and beautiful, as well for lyrics as for music. Full of beautiful love songs and clearcut ballads. This is indeed an album that brings you in a certain mood, to simply enjoy the songs. You don't need to do anything else. And when it's done, there's a little pain that the trance (the spell) has been broken. You'll certainly need the replay button on your player. And the best thing is: The album keeps getting better and better the more you listen to it. Nick cave: Thank you!
