Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987 (2CD)

Was lucky enough to see Dio on the HolyDiver tour and with Heaven and Hell at Sonisphere the year before his passing.
There will never be another Ronnie James Dio, noone can even come close. Expect goosebumps all the way through this fantastic double album.....i nearly cried a few times! RIP DIO x

I originally recorded the 1983 Donnington from The Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show on cassette. I played it to death. I actually still have the tape. Superb set be the best Heavy Metal singer of them all.

I was at both of these shows and Dio was the highlight both times, i am looking forward to getting this as i know it will bring back fond memories.
One of the great rock singers of all time, sadly missed

This is a great little package, comes in a thick digipak and contains 2 replica backstage passes from the '83 & '87 Donnington show. No need to comment on Ronnie's voice, after all, he had/has the greatest voice in metal. Now all we need is is the material he was rumoured to be working on for Magica 2 before his untimely death to be released. \m/ \m/ STAND UP AND SHOUT! \m/ \m/
