OK, imo, +44's sound is not the same, or even similar, to blink's!!!
I'm a big blink fan, and their will be missed for sure, but at least this album has shown that just cos blink are over!! the amazing songwriting isn't...
imo, Mark Hoppus' voice sounds better in, and more suited to, this album than he did in any of blink's!! and Travis Barker, well, his drum skills sound amazing in any album by any band!!...
The stand out track is the title song, but the whole album is true, genuine quality!! (my fave song is the opener: 'Lycanthrope')
Although I do like AVA, +44 are defo the better of the 2 post-blink bands!!! and I would recommend this album to anyone!!

I cant believe how mint this CD is, i love them so much. I was shocked when the split (time ago) but going from a 3 some to a 2 some (+ new guys) you cant really tell much of a difference, so yes i will say its like having Blink 182 back again!!!!
Great Debut

One of the best debuts I've heard.
Still some elements of blink with an all round mature sound.
Great album for your ipod

Simply a great album and a great band.
Sucks that blink had to finish but atleast +44 have given us something just as good unlike angels and airwaves.
Marks improved upon his already amazing playing and singing and every song stands out, especially 155.
Travis is amazing as always and shane and craig are perfect additions to the band.
sucks +44 had to cancel playing at the reading festival, would have been sick to show that atleast 2/3rds of blink didnt go downhill x
Good Album

Very good album from +44, vocals are a lot better then Blink 182. This album has some very good songs like Chapter 13 and Baby Come on. The Bonus Accoustics are also a nice extra. +44 seem to have carried on well from where blink left, and don't seem to miss Tom.
Great Cd a good start!

Mark Hoppus does a great job during this album. When listneing too it i have noticed that mark is capable of hitting certain notes. his singing has improved deffently form blink 182 because without Tom Mark takes more of a leading role in +44. 'Make you smile' has too be one of my favourites of the album a great duet. 'Baby come on' and 'chapter 13' are another two of my favorites. During this album the chorus's stick in your mind and you can't ghet them out of your head. i really admire mark's progress with his singing really love them.
not a bad song in sight!

This is the new Blink 182 and they have made a great effort. Brilliant duet with Make you Smile and all the acoustic songs are excellent. Great Buy.
GREAT DEBUT ALBUM... THEY'VE STILL GOT IT AND MORE

former members of blink 182 - mark hoppus and travis barker show a maturity in music and a new step in the right direction, full of original drum beats and catchy lyrics that you just cant get out of your head!... and they can really really recreate these songs live as i went to see them in nottingham. A must buy for the pop-punk/electro fans ! !
