I was really disappointed with this album, as "Songs about Jane" was so much better.. It's a shame really. It was a waste in my opinion
Lyrics makes this album great

It's all in the lyrics, they are catchy, smart and heartfelt. Buy it if you loved their first album, obviously its not like songs about jane, but it is pretty good otherwise, you can tell it's typical Maroon 5 style!
this isn't songs about jane .... but ......

firstly it seems all the negative reviewes were way too quick to compare this album to the excellent songs about jane .... most artists/bands will change direction slightly between albums and who really wants a band to show no development.
this is a good pop/rock album with some excellent melodies & songwriting, there are 1 or 2 filler tracks but on the whole, i enjoyed the album .... can't wait for the 3rd!!!!!
