In my opinion, Because Of The Times is the album that changed Kings Of Leon from "that band with that good song [Molly's Chamber / The Bucket / Four Kicks]" to an absolutely amazing band
Most of the southern sounds from the first 2 albums are gone, and what we're left with are stadium filling anthems that will have crowds of thousands singing along, whether it be the slow burning Knocked Up, the reckless Charmer, the radio friendly On Call, the groovy Black Thumbnail, the anthemic Fans, the gentle The Runner, or any of the other seven amazing songs on this album
This album showed the world that Kings Of Leon mean buisness

The KoL started with a bang with their first album and have just got better from there. Initially the first tracks an fans stand out from the pack, but keep playing the album through and you will discover the genius that lies beneath. A breath taking album from start to finish, every song different but effective. From the opening salvo of knocked up to arizona which wraps up the album magnificently, this is worth having!

Personally I thought that this album was not as good as some of there previous ones. It does have a few good songs on it but allot of them are not as good as ones from previous albums.
