Pretty average album in my oppinion. There are a few good songs however none of them really stick out as excellent.

This is probably on a par with Aha Shake Heartbrake and so its amazing!

Its got some fantastic songs on there like Arizona and Knocked up. It is a bit of a move on since there last album as its a bit of a 'cleaner' sound which although you may think isnt their style it works brilliantly.

I'd never bought King of Leon before, but after buying thsi album - they are one - if not my favorite band around!
This is truely a massive album, you can listen to it time and time again and it gets better and better !
Everything, every track is awesome from start to finish. !

If you dont have this album - go kck yourself in the face - cos you are missing out - BIG TIME !!

(Then go buy they other two previous albums (£2.99 on Play.com cant be bad !!! )

Love IT

Unlike many albums where songs get samey, this one is completely the opposite making it truly brilliant. Full of amazing songs....... buy it!!!!

I don't like it as much as "Aha Shake" but there is no denying it is a progression, completely different to their previos efforts but still has some of what made them famous.

Uncompromising, they never force out unit shifters, lead single "On Call" barely even has any lyrics, in no way have they sold out, quite the opposite, they have less broad appeal than before, there songs are just simply amazing. "Charmer", "Camaro", "Black thumbnail" and "Mcfearless" show them at their most aggressive, whereas "Ragoo", "The Runner" and "On Call" show them at their prettiest, and their ability to make the changes seamless is breathtaking.

"Fans" is the most radio friendly here but it is hard to explain why, like the rest of the album it can be hard to explain what is so great, it just is.

Which may seem like a silly observation and therefore a bad review, but after you listen you;ll see exactly what I mean, just don't try to explain.

this album is one of the best albums Kings of leon have brought out, there are some seriously great and catchy tunes on there such as; knocked up, McFearless, my party, charmer, on call, trunk. although there are some tracks like arizona that are not amazing but still good. I bought this CD and havent stoped listening to it it is seriously an amzing album, well worth breathing

Amazing album!

i saw them live on the 12th of december and hadnt herd most of the tracks....after the show i bought this album straight away! such a good listen

i define a great album as one which u can listen to everytrack without skipping any...this is one! Fans,Charmer, Black Thumbnail, My party and Knocked up are my favourite songs!

i gave it 4 stars as in my opinion Foo Fighters get 5 stars for their album which is the best of 2007

i have listened to this album over and over again and i still think it is absolutly fantastic. i love everything about it.

Amazing third album from kings of leon here all 13 songs are a little alternitive indie heaven, definitely my favourite album of 2007.

kings of leon are one of those bands you either love or hate,the singers voice could be amazing to some and very annoying to others,me ,i like them first hearing them back in 03 with the infectious 'mollys chambers'.because of the times is their third album and has seem them getting the best reviews of their career .first single on call is superb, anthemic with a blistering guitar solo and is easily one of the best songs they have written.opener knocked up is an epic seven minutes long and the excellent true love way is also a highlight.singles charmer and fans standout but the other songs so far haven't grabbed me.maybe a few more listens and i might just give it four stars.
