Merry Xmas! (4CD)

i only paid a fiver so mixed feelings, some songs great others have nothing to do with christmas, and some of the covers leave a lot to be desired . but for the money not a bad back ground cd.

ok,lets get it out of the way,ronan murdered the best xmas song ever. the rest of the disks are good. i have various xmas disks and this covers most of the classics with a mix of newer stuff as well.it is a good cd and well worth the 5 quid i paid for it

ok so there is some shockers on there but skip to the best ones and its ok...has my fav xmas song on so im happy and its only a fiver so cant complain on the price!!

As some others reviewers have noted, there are a few terrible covers rather than the originals. Especially the Roanan Keating version of Fairytale of New York, which is an abomination. There are a few dreadful songs, Lady GaGa ft Space Cowboy, Westlife but with four cd's for about a fiver just make your own best of and dump all the rubbish.

Where's The Fairytale of New York?! One of the biggest Xmas songs of all time!

Why whenever they release christmas albums do they choose such a load of rubbish to put on them? Quite a few classics missing, why is ronan keatings version of fairytale of new york always on these albums instead of the classic pogues? Why is wizzards version of i wish it could be christmas everyday not on here instead of Girls Aloud? And why on earth is Eva Cassidy over the rainbow on here? I know it's cheap but for gods sake!

but they are spread out on so many CDs that we only play one of them. Could be because I'm from Norway, but a lot of these songs doesn't give me any xmas feeling at all... But it's cheap, so not a shabby price for the first CD^^

This is one of the best christmas albums ever a must buy everything you wont on one album set go on buy or be a hum bug
