Along with 'I brought you my bullet you brought me your love' probably my favourite album ever, with 'Helena' being my favourite song done by this band.

If you like someone who sings filled with emotion this is the band and the album for you.

I think my opinion is the opposite to the person's below me. I really like this album. The Black Parade album just annoyed me due to the amount of people saying how they were emo 'cause they liked the album. But I think this album is seriously underrated in MCR's backcatalogue. Far better than 'Black Parade' and 'Bullets'. Buy if you're a fan of bands such as Kill Hannah and Aiden.

I bought the albulm on the strength of the reviews and i am a big fan of the Black Parade album.

If like me you discovered MCR through the Black Parade album and are not particuly into the whole EMO scene, you might not enjoy this as much. This one is rather like a B sides album as the tracks are not as refined or as catchy.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Three Cheers for MCR!

Absolutely amazing album, really got me into rock music.

I really can't fault this album, without a doubt their best, past and present. Every song on this album grabbed me, theyre all different but all so great in their own ways.

Gerrard's voice is great on this album, the lyrics are fantastic and so addictive. This CD is a must have. Look out for; To The End, Thankyou for the Venom, and You KNow What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Try before you die

Whatever you know about My Chemical Romance, you really don't. That is until you listen to this album. If you heard that Black Parade song and thought it was 'catchy' then this album might not be for you. However good the black parade is, its not three cheers for sweet revenge. Three Cheers for sweet revenge is what projected this band to stardom by an intense group of followers and all because My Chemical Romance don't sing about how wonderful life can be, they sing about just how bad life can be. They sing about every day events as if they were writing your tragedy, your loss or your anger. I'd pick out the 'best' track on the album but I really can't. Thats not becuase I have no idea what I'm talking about it's because I truly love each one. What I will do is pick out my favourites. Thank you for the venom - a song about not knowing what to believe in anymore and self destruction. I'm not okay - you will want to run, jump and scream. Agression mandatory. Give em hell kid which is about following dreams and taking risks.
Its like having your own personal mood ring in a CD. Label this band whatever you want, emo, goth, cr*p but the truth is if you can't see past the black clothes and the eyeliner. Then you probably won't understand the complexity of it and the simplicity of their talent.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars HELENA

BUY BUY BUY! fantastic! The whole album is just amazing! Songs such as Cemetery Drive, I'm Not Okay and Thank You For The Venom, are just sensational!
This album shows what MCR'S music was like before The Black Parade which seems to be the only album a lot of people associate them with. Don't get me wrong, The Black Parade is fantastic but it's not the only album they wrote. I would also take a look at their 1st album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love.
Thanks for reading! =]

This has gotta be mcr's best album!
Being a big mcr Fan- i love all their work, however i'd advise anyone to buy this album.
Bullets and black parade are still fantastic but this album just beats any album out there! Probably the most treasured cd in my collection!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Awesome.

Every single song is effortless immensity. Vocals and instrumentals of much higher standard than both of the other albums. While some songs could be considered as dragging on a bit, for the most part there are no obvious faults. My Chemical Romance's finest work.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars WOW!

A relentlessly brilliant album- every track has a life of it's own. This album drags you through an intimate insight into the band's emotions and observations through AWESOME riffs and unforgetably sinister and eerie lyrics. At one point this album didn't leave my hi-fi for 2 months. Anyone who is even tempted- i seriously urge you to buy this album- i don't think you'll regret it!
