Genius album, takes a few listens but grabs you after two or three goes. If you get the chance to see them live then take it, one of the best bands I've seen, and I've seen a few. They are unique in the sense that their music is even better live than it comes across on the album. Thank god for White Lies.
This album has been well worth the wait. It blew me away at the first listen. Shame it only has 10 tracks (same as To Lose My Life). More on the next album please !!
i cant stop listening to this album! loved the first album and love this one !
It is very rarely that you fall in love with an album after the first listen, but it happened with their first album and its happened all over again with this one. They have grown since their last album by producing songs with even more layers of sound and epic electric beats but still sticking to the meaningful story telling lyrics. If you enjoyed the first album you will not be disappointed but even if you havent heard of them before and enjoy thought provoking lyrics with interesting emotional beats it is well worth the 8quid.
