Well this album did take me awhile to get into but i never hated it(i hate when you get an album and when you first listen to it you think meh). The only 2 songs i heard before buying an album of theres were Ashes Of The Wake & Redneck(from the album sacrament). My friends introduced me to the song ashes of the wake it was awesome. I Decided to check the album out. It is a brilliant album once you get into it. My fave tracks are Ashes to the wake, Laid To Rest & One Gun. A very heavy album i would suggest this to every heavy metal fan but if you really really hate bands with shouting vocalist then i suggest downloading a couple of songs to check 'em out. Overall great album with some awesome riffs lyrics. A must buy deffinetly for the price 9.49 thats a bargain.
This album is non-stop!

A year or two ago i saw an advert for some broadband company. The advert was a few metalheads headbanging to a killer riff. After searching I found out that it was by a band called "Lamb Of God" and the song "Now You've Got Something To Die For".
I bought this album and haven't looked back since. It is completely insane. Laid To Rest sets the tone and pace for the whole album. Unbelievably fast riffs, speedy double bass pedals, and of course unreal vocals from Randy.
The whole sound of the album is spot on for a metal album, it just sounds heavy and loud even if the beat isn't. The best song on the album for me is "Hourglass", followed by "Now You've Got Something To Die For".
This album is a must have for anyone getting into heavy metal or just looking for a new band to admire. This piece of art will truly blow you away. "Ashes Of The Wake" is a must-have album for anyone in the metal scene.
