Before I say anything further... if you don't like music with bellowing vocals, skewed guitars, lack of choruses and random tempo changes - go find a different album. That aside, this CD is a challenging listen which needs a few listens before fully appreciated, "Blood And Thunder" and "Iron Tusk" being the best tracks. From a instrumental point of view this album is fantastic, with tricky guitar work and incredibly fast drum fills, but don't expect to be blown away vocally, especially if you're into music with uplifting singing... it isn't here. That doesn't diminish how awesome this album is, however!
