Takes me back to my youth

As a 40 something bloke this album takes me back to the late 70's and early 80's.
It's well produced with a semi live sound, not like the the over produced stuff you hear nowadays.
The album is quite short but don't let this put you off...just press the repeat button and turn it up.
Thanks to my son for introducing me to some fabulous new artists.

I heard of this band when i bought my tickets to see the arctic monkeys later this year and this is the band touring with them so decided to get the album and very pleased i have, although it is a short album evey song is good and quite upbeat and now im looking forward to seeing them live in november.

great debut album, checked them out a few months ago loved what i heard. has hints of the strokes, early blur, the smiths the pixies and glasvegas... a jingly jangly indie punk vibe with beatlesque melodies and cool lyrics thrown into the mix. a great lo-fi sound with all the little studio back-ground noises left in for effect... simple, effective... impressive.

 Excellent indie rock

Combines classic indie rock with intelligent lyrics with a sprinkling of humour in. Deffo a bbq summer album fingers crossed the second album will be as good.
