Birdy (Play.com Exclusive Signed CD)

I've only listen to her first four Songs/Covers:

- Without a Word, this is an amazing song. An original by her.
- Skinny Love, a cover but done superbly.
- The A-Team, personally much better than the original.
- Shelter, a cover again but so heartfelt and awesome.

If the first four songs are anything to go by, this Album is going to be stunning. :)

I saw a reasonable review ,tapped in Birdy into Spotify and the album came up.
After the third lisen in a row all I cold say was OMG.
Her voice is so beguiling.
I have a penchant for femail singers and have been listening to the divine Eleanor McEvoy prior to Birdy flying in.
As for it being covers her lable wanted someting out pronto.
As she was in the middle of GCE's thus the covers
But what choices The Mews Comforting sounds is the most extrodinary song
And to cover one of my favourites bands The National.. wonderful
One cant ignore the startling comparisons with Kate Bush in terms of precosiousnes
Cant wait for the next album
