If you ever think about bying an unknown album
.This is the one.Just perfect.
I was a little reserved when I got this album as i had only heard a couple of tracks, however, I have not been left disappointed. It is a great album, with a real mix of tempo. Alex Clare has such a wonderful voice, which really compliments his music.
I saw Alex Clare play at Queens' May Ball in Cambridge last year. He easily outshone all of the other acts hands down. His music is easy yet interesting to listen to. He throws in some great beats, lyrics and rhythm to make this album my best purchase of the year. 'Tightrope' and 'Treading Water' are the two tracks that stand out but he slows it down for 'I love you' and his version of 'When Doves Cry'. Its a little bit calmer than Magnetic Man but still keeps a smile on your face. Just try it out and I promise you will love it!
