This is the album that wasn't easily available in the UK for many years. CTW shows himself as a master songwriter - probably the greatest English songwriter of his time. The single 'The Best is Yet to Come' ends the album and what an ending. Covered by many but this is the definitive version. Haunting melody and beautiful lyrics. Each song on the album is a masterpiece of story writing. There isn't a bad track but Contrary and Both of Us are personal favourites. The 2 opening tracks Still not Free and Messenger set the tone of the album.
Once hooked by CTW he will become part of your life and you will want to buy everything he has ever written. I know I did.
