loved it.
not quite as good as their 4 track mini album, but that was amazingly good so i didn't expect it to be better.
still, this is well worth the money and is a proper good album.

 Bring Me The Grindcore...?

Admittedly, after reading the press surrounding Bring Me The Horizon I instantly dismissed them as another emo groupie band...how very wrong I was. Dodgy haircuts and tattoos aside, there is absolutely nothing about this band which could be described as emo.
Their sound on this CD is punishing and thick, but topped off with a seamless production and more pinch harmonics than even Zack Wylde could shake a guitar at.
Obviously there is (a little) room for improvement, the thrash riff followed by hardcore breakdown does seem to be a little repetitive - but as the old adage goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If you like your guitars insanely overdriven and your riffs fat, if you like your drums filled with insane incessant double bass blasts, and your vocals to sound like Satan with his balls in a vice then you need to check out BMTH.
All in all for a band so young BMTH have delivered the goods with an album that many bands twice their age would have trouble creating. The future is indeed bright for this band!

Your 13/14 you cant know that much about music your still a kid...and you listen to Paramore. Need i say more about you not knowing much about music! This album is excellent (it is never out of my cars CD player), alot better than the first one they released in my opinion. Lets hope the new one can be as outstanding. Buy this now!

I love this album, one of my favourites. Oli's voice is very unique, really powerful growls, yet piercing screams. The guitar is amazing! complex riffs and mind blowing solo's. Such a great heavy metal album, because every song stood out to me, and really hit me as a great song

To be Blunt, you might not want to buy this album if you aren't into death metal/ deathcore, because its hard stuff to get into. but if you like this music, it's fantastic, well worth the money.

(look out for; for stevie wonders eyes only, medusa and off the heezay)

 lost their edge

well i must admit the musicianship on this record is amazing, they all have put their all into it and it shows

HOWEVER

due to the myspace culture of wanting death metal band after death metal band, bring me the horizon have lost there touch. there ep which i highly reccomend is a great example of a unique band pushing there way in to society however this effort is not so, dont believe the hype, while it is technically good they have come off sounding exactly, AND I MEAN EXACTLY like the black dahlia murder, completely losing there orginality and raw edge

the band first hailed the darker children of norma jean have now just become another death metal band in the endless stream.

if u want a unique sound buy their ep if u want another death metal copy to add to ur collection then buy this album
