at first you think: ah, lonely boy, great single, a hell of a song.
but: the black keys?
the next songs make you even wonder more: some of them are pure blues rock as usually delivered by the black keys (hooray!), some of them are more... poppy so to speak. not really commercial mainstream radio stuff, but never the less not your typical black keys. but don't be mistaken: it still is great music!
diversification? no problem with that, since the quality still stands out.

I got this as a gift recently which I had fancied. Prior to this only had the Attack and Release album which is very good. Bought that on the back of hearing a song from it on a sountrack to Rescue Me. I have just never got round to buying the Black Keys other albums, although that was the plan!!
Long story short this is a great album which will surely make the band better known in the UK. Its getting plenty radio air play already. Its not often you like an album after the first listen but I did with this one. Enough said!! Enjoy.
