 I like it but...

Man alive this guy doesn't fit into any genre - listening to the MP3 clips via the download album, he IS a genre!

There are smatterings of reggae, early 80's style Jon and Vangelis (in a good way), Sting, Peter Gabriel and a whole lot of completely original... well... original!

It's unique, immediately enthralling, quiet and yet something you can equally belt out at massive volume. Perfect quiet driving music or windows down "check me out" summer music.

And yet, there is something mildly disturbing too. The lyrics are sometimes angry and hurt - how much pain has this guy seen?

It's a damn good album and one that can only grow as you listen to it, but if you're ready for a session of something "samey" this album will make you dizzy!

Eclectic is probably the way to best describe this album. Odd would work too... I like it, regardless of how confused this review sounds.

 Simply Brilliant

The whole album is suprising as after the first few tracks the style of music changes which was a pleasant suprise. As you listen to the tracks over and over the whole album grows on you. If you like 80's style music with a modern edge then you should buy this album.

 Very average

Apart from the opening standout track *you all know it* this is a very mediocre album. Hardly any hummable/memorable tunes, sounds like a bad Journey/Whitesnake B side collection.

Great album to drive or relax to

Somebody that I used to know is very addictive and some similarities to Sting

 Very pleasantly surprised

I bought this album on the recommendation of a friend who I know has very similar taste in music.
I must admit on the first listen I took some convincing but after a couple of trips in the car I found myself humming some of their tunes.
Wondefully eclectic offering ranging from 80's style to disco and much more.
Even my kids ask me to put it on in the car now.
One of my favourite albums this year without doubt
