As impressed as i was with LAMBERT's last offering,it still missed those really strong moments, moments that display his voice properly. With TRESPASSING we have an album full of great songs, songs that will no doubt grow if not instantly loved. I feel his powerful voclas are showcaswed a lot more on this offering, you can imagine a lot of these songs being done live and sounding fantastic. It gets off to s great start and really doesn't let up. Some argue the songs are too samey,i would say they do stand apart from each other after several listens. There's a lot of upbeat stuff on hear and some some pleasant slow moments. We still have that 21st century glam rock feel and enough keyboard wizardry to point a finger of thanks to the past. So i would say this is the album i was hoping for and if he just gets better, next up should be something very special indeed.
I have waited ages for the second album to be released and it does not disappoint! From the stomping opening title track Adam shows he can still do his own kind of funky pop music. The second half of the album is slowed down with what seem more mature and personal songs including Nirvana which is one of my favorites! With a total of 17 songs this album is not only value for money but a great new compilation of songs that are worth every penny. This is a definite must have for all Glamberts and also for new fans (if you love Never Close Our Eyes then buy, buy, buy this album now)!!!!!
