What a fantastic album!! Totally beats the pants off LP's "Living Things"! Amaryllis is actually a flower that grows in the desert and the point of the song is to blossom and show your true colours especially when it's so tough out there these days!

  Great follow up.

Ok, Sound of Madness was always going to be a difficult album to follow up, and this is a very good effort, but it just misses hitting the target. Great tracks that I can listen to over and over, Bully, Unity, Enemies and My Name...............but I do find myself skipping over a few tracks. Well worth buying, but I'm sure you will go back to SoM in the end.

Another great album from Shinedown. Just a couple of tracks let this album down, but some might like them all. I found Bully to be rather unsophisticated, taking the easy route. I love the title track however the pronunciation of Amaryllis sounds weird to me - there is an i before the s not an a, but hey ho perhaps that's how it's done over the pond. All in all a cracking album all fans of rock should listen to. My favourite album is still' The sound of madness' however.

Shinedown just get better and better. So many highlights on this release; Bully, Unity, Amaryllis and Enemies. Do your self a favour and catch them live. You will not be disappointed.

Shinedown just keep getting better! After Sound of madness I was sceptical as to whether they could produce another top album, but now having heard the new album through a few times I can safely say yes they can.
This album is so catchy, much better than sound of madness in my opinion, and that is saying a lot, since Sound of madness was released it has been my favourite album....Amaryllis has just blown it away.

Could they top Sound of Madness was the burning question....
After seeing 2 tracks done live in a sellout gig in Bristol, i was convinced...yeah they could! This album is brilliant, not one bad song at all from start to finish. Shinedown are a big band, but after this album, they will be HUGE!!!
