Beautiful solo album from former white stripe jack white! Songs and music in the tradition of the white stripes, but more along the classical song lines. More mature? Certainly with a serious bluesy edge to it. Musically jack white takes his music a step further. And operating solo doesn't does him wrong at all. Great album.
Looking forward to a possible follow up from out of nashville.

If you loved the White Stripes, well this is the right album you must buy! Great Jack White, greats songs, guitar excellent and some more piano. If I had a record player I bought the vinyl, but I don't have!! So if you like rock and blues you must have this.

Another great album by Jack White

Interesting, witty songs with an open, minimal musical palette I'd feared he'd abandoned. Mr White remains the finest blues guitarist of his age, and now stakes his claim as our most unlikely pop star. Bonkers but brilliant. Deserves it's time in the spotlight.

Jack White's first solo album is wonderful.

I am huge fan of Jack White and I own all his albums from his many bands which are The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. The songs on this album Blunderbuss are all about his marriage breaking up which over the years has always made very good writing material for many different artist. The first track Missing Pieces has that familiar Jack White feel to it which we all love him for then he goes more funky and heavy with the song Sixteen Salteens.
Track 8 I'm Shakin' put a smile on my face when he says ("I can't stand still, I'm Bo Didley you got me shakin'). We see a more serious side of Jack White with the title track and the song On and On and On.
Jack White's guitar playing is raw and exciting and for me he is the 2nd best rock guitar player alive today after the legend Eddie Van Halen. If you are a Jack White fan this is his 3rd best album that he has been involved with in my humble opinion and my other two favourite albums are Elephant by The White Stripes and Consolers of the Lonely by The Raconteurs.

I have every album Jack White has done and this is definately his best work (not saying his other stuff was bad). Every song is brilliant and completely different to the rest. My favourites are "Hypocritical kiss" and "on and on and on" but are changing reguarly. He really is a musical genius.
