 Their Best Album

| | See all Jokester's reviews (18)

I've been a fan of Hot Chip ever since I saw them playing Over and Over and though they've produced some cracking tracks over the years their albums can be quite heavy going with a lot of filler.

This on the other hand is superb, from the opening epicness of Motion Sickness as it builds up before the vocals start to the thumping beat of Night And Day almost every other track is great.

There's a couple of slow tracks (Look At Where We Are and Now There Is Nothing) that detract from the album for me, but otherwise the highlights in addition to the ones already mentioned include How Do You Do? These Chains, Flutes, and Let Me Be Him.
