I happened across Jessie purely by chance and I am so glad I did! I have played this album SOOO many times already and I really don't think I will ever tire of it. Jessie has been compared with Sade but for me (as a massive Sade fan in the 80's) ... she is far and away the better singer. Her voice is pure and she's a delight to the eardrums. The lyrics whilst sometimes quite simple are sung with such depth and feeling. You could listen to this in the background but it would be a sin not to be able to sit back and enjoy the talent of this newcomer. If you like your music soulful, easy to listen to and relaxing (although there a few more up tempo numbers included) .... snap up your copy today. Trust me, you really won't regret it!!
Perfect mid-night soothing music and can't praise enough the flawless production and the quality of the music... it might not be everyone's cup of tea but it is my favorite album of the year so far
