I never was a great MCR fan before the black parade and got the cd on a bit of a whim. The first couple of times I listened to it I didn't really get into the songs they didn't release as singles but after persevering I absolutely love the whole album. I love Gerard Way's unique voice.
I never really enjoyed 'Teenagers' before I bought the album 'cos I thought it was a bit cheesy and not my cup of tea but it's grown on me since buying the album.
I love the lyrics from ' I don't love you' and 'Cancer' but think my favourite song has to be 'Mama'! I'll definitely be buying more MCR albums based on my love for this one!
this album is the new american brittish rock

before listening to this album i was a fan. after listening to this album i turned into an obsessive fan 4 a whole year. in my opinion i think it's an americian band doing there version of brittish bands with a gothic twist for example the opener The End sounds really pink floyd-ish and the solo in welcome ...... is seriously queen-ish. i think people lie when they sat that they hate this album!!!
Love it!!

I had never even heard of this band until i heard Welcome to the black parade on Kerrang.. I was totally hooked. It has a very Pink Floyd - The wall kind of feel to it and as concept albums go this is terrific.. I would definitely recommend (and have) this album to anybody..
A biased point of view, I suppose

I don't own this album and I don't plan to. I can't stand MCR, but a friend had this and I listened to a few non-single tracks. The band certainly chose the wrong songs to release - their singles are generally so cheesey and corny, but some of the album stuff actually impressed me, proving they can be talented musically. I still don't like Gerard Way's vocals, however. The only song I actually enjoy properly is 'Teenagers'.
Not the best from MCR by a long stretch

Ive been a fan of my chemical romance since their first album, and to be blunt about it, this album was a dissapointment.
As much as I love their older work, this album is a bit too polished and lacking in feeling which I appreciate sounds strange. To put in another way, I guess its missing the raw emotion, fun and spontaneity that was so apparent in their previous records.
Whilst im still a huge MCR fan, I avoid listening to this album as a collective piece. Individual sings on their own are fine, but the album as a whole, no.
YOUR MAD TO TO LEAVE BAD REVIEWS

I am ashamed to admit i own all three albums, the thing is you buy expecting to understand why My Chemical Romance are so popular maybe even enjoy their music but every release is just as bigger disapointment than the one before i have nothing against emo music but can't help feeling My Chem are the most over hyped band ever, they are not even satisfactory as a band. My tip save your money and avoid!!!!!!
best MCR album!!!

A few months ago my MCR obsessed friend persuaded me to listen to their music so I listened to Famous Last Words and absolutely loved it!! I really started to get into their music then and since then I have bought The Black Parade, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and I have the Black Parade is Dead! preordered. I'm not a huge fan of rock music so in my oppinion this is their best album because it appeals to a more wider audience. My favourite songs on the album are Dead!, Sharpest Lives, Welcome to the Black Parade, House of Wolves, Disenchanted and Famous last words.
