I think this is a really great rock album. I agree with all of the other reviews, Myles Kennedy has such an amazing voice and him and Slash paired together have made this album really special. My personal top tracks are Anastasia, Far And Away, Standing in the Sun, One Last Thrill, and the title track, Apocalyptic Love.

I think it should be in every rock fan's collection. Really, really good.

Slash's first solo album was an absolute revelation and if you have not been lucky enough to see "By the Sword", "Back from Cali" etc live yet , the Live in Stoke DVD/Blu Ray is a worthy purchase.
One may have been forgiven for expecting less from the relatively quick follow up, Apocalyptic Love but Wow!, its actually so much better. Myles is a great singer (Old School!) and it is apparent that they built a great creative relationship while touring the last album. Slash's creativity on this album is as good as its been since AFD. The cat in the hat is on top form and this album will stay in your system for many, many weeks. There are so many stand out tracks. "You're a lie", "No More Heroes", "Halo", "Anastasia", "Not for me", "Standing in the Sun" and "Shots Fired" for me. Get this, you'll love it!

Great guitars, amazing vocals, hooky songs, memorable riffs, classy solos. Not often that every song on one album is great, but believe me this is the case with this one. Slash's last album was written with the various different vocalists in mind and it was ok,just ok, but this one is in a different class. I'm not joking when I say that these are the best collection of songs that slash has put together since appetite for destruction. This albums is miles better than anything velvet revolver ever did. I usually like a bit of metal metallica, machine head, slayer, etc, but I bought this for old times sake and I haven't stopped playing it since it was released. You can listen to any genre of music you like, but a good song is a good song and this album has 15 of them. Everything just clicks together, vocals, melodies, chourus, verses, lyrics, and it just makes a really cool album. Thanks SLASH and long live the GIBSON LES PAUL and MARSHALL AMP.

Kennedy and Slash were destined to make music together, their Vocal/Guitar sound is sublime.....one of the best albums I've heard in a long time.....I don't think you'll beat this one for a good few years!!!! Absolutely Brilliant, every song is pure genius .....great vocals, great lyrics, great licks, riffs and solo's.....I hope they continue to work together, they can produce a lot more legendary records.
