I first heard this on a bit of a whim and downloaded a few tracks, absolutely fell in love with it, then got the first and secound album, which are both as fantastic as each other. this is some very easy going easy listening music, i particularly like this in the garden in the evening, really thoughtfull and loving lyrics, my favourite being desert sunrise and make the most. considered folk but its a mixture of quiet and up beat guitar and drums, with his gorgeous voice. also doing v.well for himself as he has been touring with john mayer, so if you like john you'll love this guy!just give it a go, promise you wont be disappointed!

Beautifully crafted album from little known Brett Dennen, one of the best that I've heard in recent years. All the songs written with feeling, some with a political angle others from the heart. His soulful voice is a perfect match for the lyrics.
My only slight criticism would be that are one or two dodgey rhyming couplets other than that brilliant, lets have some more!
