  • 'Maths And English' is the third album from grime heavyweight Dizzee Rascal. The trademark abrasive beats and inspired lyrical reportage are still present, but this time the beats and the rhymes are bolstered by collaborations with artists as diverse as Shy FX and Lily Allen, making this album his strongest yet. Includes the single 'Sirens'.

This Is Going To Change The Grime Scene Forever. I've Heard 7 Tracks & The Flow Is Out Of This World! Flex Will Be A Big Club Track. Pu**yHole Is A Wicked Hype Song. Excuse me Please Is A Deep Song, Makes You Stop & Think, Dizzee Speaks From Da Heart. Hard Back Is All About Da Bass!!! Shows You How 2 Make It In Da Game. Temptations Is Live O, Ft Joss Stone. Sirans As You Know Is A Rock Beat With Dat Dizzee Flow, Wicked Video Not What You Would Expect. This Album Will Be His Best Work To Date. The Award Winning Boy In The Corner Was The Best Grime Album For Me, But Maths & English Will Smush It!!! I Can't Call This Album Grime Because His Made His Own Genre!!! I Guess Like Nas's This Is Da "N". This Album Is Da "D"

 Raskit Wins Again

Self-proclaimed Grime guru Dizzee Rascal - the same individual who put the UK G and Grime scene on the map - has done a stunning job with this album. The lyrics are real yet informative, boastful yet learned, and with tracks like 'Hardback Industry' (which advises budding MC's on how to get signed to a label and the dangers to watch out for), I'd also argue that it's educational as well. Rascal may not have the originality of Wiley or the variety of Lethal B, but his lyrics (and beats) are sensationally combined and create an effort that - dare I say it - even surpasses the genius demonstrated on his Mercury Music Prize-winning album 'Boy In Da Corner'. If you like Grime/Rap/Hip-Hop/Garage/Eski-B or just something funky to blaze from your motor then look no further. 'Maths + English' is the best thing that came out of 2007 by a long shot.

 GENIUS

i have purchased this album and it is pure genius, so many catchy clever lyrics all rolled into 14 tracks. i loved most of his previous tracks and im sure after listening to this i will have the same opinion. worth the bargain price on here!!

 Whats that bloke waffling about?

Dunno what that bloke was waffling about this being a crap album when its actually quality. Once again Dizzee has delivered with his quirky beats and fluent ryhming lyrics. Only shame is he didn't put GHETTO or Wasteman on the album cos they are some cracking sounds. As with the previous two albums the more you listen to the songs the better they sound, that is once you get your head around his tongue twisting vocals!

Note to the other lad: if you think a guy who repeats himself 10 times over every verse is better than Mr Mills then you need to go get checked out!
