Mariah has once again hit another topspot with a great album where she can do no wrong, I've loved every mariah carey album and although this isn't exactly like the good old days she still can sing a ballad greatly and a voice that's lost. I don't think so, this album proves that MC still has every going on well and good. I can't find a bad song on it so that can't be bad right. But don't take my word for it buy it yourself and see.
Three years since the release of the biggest selling album of 2005, The Emancipation of Mimi, Mariah returns to centre stage with what is shaping up to be the best album of her career thus far.
Included on the album is Touch My Body, the worldwide smash that has become her 18th #1 song in the US which places her above Elvis (17) and two behind the Beatles (20).
Admittedly, I haven't heard all of the album but with "Touch My Body", the second single "Bye Bye", one of my personal favourites, "I'm That Chick," "Migrate" and the gospel inspired "I Wish You Well" (which is a track where Mariah lays down the vocals like no one else with just a piano,) Mariah has done it again and surely delivered what is set to be this year's must have album.
Mariah's vocals are second to none and as songs on this album prove there are all there in all their glory.
Mariah's incredible achievements in music as both a singer and song writer (17 of her 18 #1's were written by Carey) never cease to amaze and once again she leads the pack and proves why she is and deserves to be #1.
I am not a fan of Mariah Carey, so when my girlfriend bought this album I was dreading having to listen to it.
After listening to the first two songs I was hooked.
This album is really really good, I would recommend it to anyone.
Don't be put off by the fact it's a Mariah Carey album, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Love all Mariah Carey's songs, got all her albums nt one song i hate from any of her albums - - can't wait for all her future albums and songs cause she is a great singer. You will love her music from the first song you hear by her cause shes got the best voice ive ever heard.
the albim seems a liitle rushed with poor production and poor song choices, a few songs are good but overall you may find yourself skipping through songs ALOT
