- Chicago's Madina Lake was formed when twins Nathan Leone (vocals) and Matthew Leone (bass) joined musical forces with guitarist Mateo Camargo and drummer Daniel Torelli - two musicians who shared the siblings' vision for creating hook-laden, pop culture-inspired hard rock with a message. Madina Lake isn't out to preach or bring listeners down - instead they deliver their message with stunning pop sensibility. Their sense of humour might be due in no small part to the time the Leone brothers applied for and were accepted to appear on the 'twins' episode of the gross-out reality show Fear Factor. The band went to Los Angeles to record their debut album, From Them, Through Us, To You, with Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Finch, Blink-182), who was the perfect choice to capture Madina Lake's upbeat pop sound while preserving the intense subject matter of their songs. From Them, Through Us, To You bounds from speakers with subtly catchy hooks and poignant vocals shouting brilliantly-crafted lyrics.

I first started listing to Madina Lake, when my friend recommened them to me. I heard one song -One Last Kiss- and i loved them already. When i got home, i looked them up, heard a few tracks, and bought the album. It's now quite a few months since i bought the CD, but i still love the tracks like i did the first time i heard them, cant stop listing to it.

This is one of the best albums i own. Every song can relate to someone at some point and the music is just out of this world.
It kinda suits any mood your in too. Seriously you wont regret buying it. There also bringing a second album out in march/april so check that out too! :)
