There are a LOT of new rock/new metal bands emerging and despite many of them producing distinctive sounds, much of this is manufactured, converyer belt 'rock for the sake of rock'. BSC are the other end of this spectrum. They manage to produce melodic rock riffs, and then merge them with southern rock boardering into straight out metal, there is not a bad song on this album which features some of the best rock music I've heard. Can't wait for the new one.
Quality tunes, vocals and riffs.... and without the gloss!!

About time I heard some quality hard rock played with real venom and without some vocalist screaching down the mike with no melody whatsoever. This band deliver the goods, without the cheese and preppy yank feel you get with so many of these other metal-boy-bands!! Who cares if its not pushing the boudaries of music or cutting edge. I couldn't care less. If you like your rock heavy and still want the singer to belt out a good tune then check it out!
A Shooting Five Star Performance!

Absolutely THE best full length debut rock album since "Appetite for Destruction". No fillers here, every track is quality- my personal faves are "Hell and high water", "Backwoods Gold" and "Rollin' on".
If you get the opportunity to catch them live then sell your kidneys to get a ticket- I've been lucky enough to see them twice and they are outstanding. I also got my pic taken with John Fred and Jon and they are great guys.
Buy this cd and spread the word. You won't regret it.
QUALITY!

Bought this soley cos Im going/being dragged along to see Whitesnake and Def Leppard and they're on the bill. Wow! Look forward to these guys more methinks! Excellent! Didn't grip me at first but soon crept up on me. Thundering bass and drums at the rear, rhythm and lead on the attack spearheaded by solid vocal chords, no time-wasters here just in your face solid rock!

No fillers, just great songs. Chris Robertson's voice is the perfect hard rock instrument. Well crafted songs with terrific rhythm section and killer riffs. One of my favourites of 2007. Buy it!
