I think this Album is The Best One after American Idiot. I am so happy to see this band continue bring out new material after over 20 years in the Business.

The songs are brilliant, all have a catchy tune.

Fully Recommended.

I absolutely love this album. I have constantly listened to it since I bought it, and I can't remember the last time I purchased a new album where I loved every single song. But I do on this one. I have always really liked Green Day, and this is by far for me personally one of their best albums. (Possibly the best.)

All the songs are a highlight, my favourite though has to be Carpe Diem.

Highly recommend this album to past and present Green Day fans, and anyone wanting a decent rock album.

This is Green Day back to doing what they do best, 3 - 31/2 minute blasts of punk rock with in your face lyrics; it is not Dookie or Nimrod but it is a step forward; more so than the past 2 CD's. This is great drum driven, guitar riff music that must be played loud and proud.

Takes you back, but with a breath of fresh air!

What to say? its Greenday through and through, a must for all Greenday fans been and gone too.
I love the fact there's more guitar solos on the tracks to add to the thrashy sound of some of the songs.
Kill the DJ is just amazing, you can even dance to it!!
catchy, beaty with some kick ass rock n roll thrown in.
give it a go, im a ,long time Greenday fan, and I will be buying all 3 if this one is anything to go by.
5stars

  Step forward

As said in the title i think this is a step forward for green day as i think their last work was way too mediocre, they sticked to the concept album thingy that was awesome in american idiot but not so fresh in 21cb.
As of the album, it really brings in fresh air as you have different songs with different topics in it (not bitching about christian and gloria for 1.20hours), if i had to put it in comparison with another green day album i'd put it with nimrod or warning but with more hard rock influences (clearly jason white).
Nuclear family as first track is really good, Let Yourself Go brings back some insomniac kick-ass memories. Kill the DJ and Oh Love are grower songs, indeed they chose them as singles. Fell for you, Loss of control and Troublemaker are very Nimrod like and it's kinda refreshing.
Stay the Night and Carpe Diem look too much standard for me, if i had to choose the weak track it would be sweet 16, didn't like the bieberish lyrics...
As a whole i really think it's good and every GD fan should buy, but even fans distant from the punk genre, not recommended for diehard punk rock fans.

  AMAZING!!!!

I have heard the whole album and believe this to be one of Green Day's bests, although there are a few. People need to stop expecting "old Green Day" and realise that things change and in this case, for the better. Money is tight at the moment but this is without a doubt worth the money, I would buy this again and again. MUST BUY FOR ALL GREEN DAY FANS!!!! LET YOURSELF GO!

  Green Day still have it.

There are no rock operas to be found here. No strings or even an acoustic guitar. The guys have gone back to basics and what made them popular in the first place. And fortunately they're still good at it. Green Day put their feet down on opening track Nuclear Family and don't slow down. The closest we get to a slow song on the album is closing track and first single 'Oh Love' (which if you're viewing this item I'm sure you've already heard by now). That's not to say this album doesn't have it's sweeter moments - see 'Fell For You' and 'Sweet Sixteen' which are kind of like if Good Riddance was written with a full band. Personal favourites are 'Nuclear Family', 'Let Yourself Go', 'Kill The DJ' (which is furthest from their normal sound of any track on the album), 'Fell For You' and 'Rusty James'.
If you loved Green Day in the 90s but aren't a fan of the American Idiot era then this is what you've been waiting for. Fans of the newer generation, never fear as there's still that more polished sound and it's still catchy as hell.
If you've never liked Green Day then this probably won't convert you.
