My husband bought me the first tw album many years ago as i loved both george harrison and roy orbison and what a marvelous album it was i played it over and over again.A few months ago we met a couple from east london who had just moved over here to tenerife and he lent me the tw 3 disc collection and i could not stop playing both cd's and the dvd. I absolutely loved it and was straight on internet to see if i could buy one and found the de luxe version which i am looking forward to owning.The tw are the most incredible and exciting group of talented musicians i have ever heard and i love every track and must admit that i had a bit of a weep when it showed the video of end of the line with a guitar in roys rocking chair. He is sadly missed as is george harrison so having this collection is extra special as i have several other of both artists.I really can't praise it or the group enough.

I remember when I was 14 in my hometown in Italy, I found a 50.000 lire banknote(25€) on the ground and what was the first thing to do with my "little treasure"? To go to the next record shop and buy "Volume One", of course. On Vinyl. When I went back home and put it on the turntable for the first time, I felt something incredible. And when I listened to Tweeter and The Monkey man for the first time...wow, one of the biggest emotions in my youth! Now that I've the possibility to own this wonderful box set, I'm very very pleased of it, because volume one is one of my favourite records of all time. And this box set looks gorgeus. If you've never heard about them, or never listened to their music...well, it's never too late to join the Wilbury family!!! Wherever you are.

I cannot wait for the long awaited re-release of the Wilburys catalogue.....BUT I am seriously concerned that the Videos have been "tweaked" and are not the originals. From watching the BBC Breakfast interview with Mrs' Harrison and Orbison, they showed a snippet of the Handle with Care video which then introduced new footage of going under bridges in Birmingham!!!!! The advertising blurb also states that the Wilbury Twist is the 2007 version - why not include all the entire videos and then put in alternate versions. The fact that the Nobodys child video and the Whatever Wilbury Wilbury promo has not been included leaves me (and I am sure other Wilbury fans) a little disappointed. Still something is better than nothing......but it could have been SO much better!
