having lived in italy for almost two years now i look to the magazines such as uncut to guide me when buying new music as i dont hear much on the radio...so when i read about these guys i was expecting soooo much but for me it sounds like the vines first album what....4 or 5 years ago...nothing entirely new nothing entirely harmful nothing infact at all...punky pop music for distressed teens

This is one of the best albums I own. It never fails to get me going before I go out and is often played when i'm knocking around in my house. I never get fed up of it.

although from wakefield myself i didnt get into the cribs until a couple of months after they released new fellas but had seen them live when they were called wrinkle and thought they were poor at best. these guys have really worked hard though and are now probably the most cutting edge band and the scene at the moment. their songs are edgy and upbeat and i struggle to get them out of my head.
i would say that this album is perhaps not their best as the new fellas was one of the best albums i have ever listened to but dont let that put you off its still better than pretty much any other album released in the last year. stand out tracks are probably mens needs, our bovine public and moving pictures but no fillers on here.
SUPERB
