These are NOT the classic tracks from the 70s. Bearing in mind that Rose Royce was a made up band is entirely legal for Mr Whitfield to re-record those songs and call it Rose Royce. However to do it badly is just cashing in. Issued in 2002, it could easily have been made by one of those covers band you hear in cheap clothes shops. The vocals sound like rushed first takes. The hand claps are off a poor (I mean poor) drum machine. on ALL THREE vertions of Car Wash.
Its a good study if you are learning to play the songs. otherwise.
