Global Underground 32: Mexico City (2CD)

I have personally found some of Adam Freeland's recent stuff (particularly remixes) a little boring, and so was slightly apprehensive befofe I first bought this album on CD, but after a few listens I loved it and decided to also get it on vinyl so I can include some of these tracks in my DJ sets. The first CD is a kind of twitchy/stompy/quirky electro beast which shows Mr Freeland is clearly moving away from his breaks past and to a crazier erol alkan/justice/mr oizo style electro mash up. It also features top artists such as Switch, SebastiAn, Etienne de Crecy and Optimo. The 2nd disc is a more chilled out minimal collection but it still retains the beat and edginess of the first and is perfect for putting on after getting back from a late night's dancing.

Also worth checking out is Freeland's Back To Mine compilation- not the same type of music as here but i challenge anyone not to like it.
