pure vocal power. pretty much each song is brilliant (Misery Business stands out) and nothing sounds the same. Paramore have done a great job with this album, its different to anything out there, addicitve songs and great sound. this album will never get old

I enjoyed this album once again great songs and strong vocal from Hayley the more I listen to them the more I love Paramore. Although I liked this album I have to agree with most fans that All We Know Is Falling is much better. I would love to go to a Paramore concert as they rock and it would be amazing to be in the same room as them. Overall a good effort here's to the next album.
That's what you get...with an album of this quality...

'Riot!' is the 2007 follow-up to the impressive debut 'All We Know Is Falling'. The album consists of 11 songs, all sub-4 minute, bringing the total running time to a modest (almost) 39 minutes. Though short overall, the songs never feel rushed or ended unnecessarily abruptly.
The album offers an impressive array of infuriatingly catchy riffs. Infuriating in a good way that is, however! Some of my personal favourites are 'Hallelujah', 'When It Rains', 'Miracle' and the excellent and delightfully bouncy 'That's What You Get', with its sing-a-long chorus and Hayley Williams on fine form.
There is a nice mix of up-tempo heavier rock and slower numbers. Throughout the album Hayley's vocals are fantastic, with each member of the group contributing their all to the tracks - the result being another outstanding effort from the band. It is made all the more remarkable by the members' tender years, a fine album from a group of talented individuals so young.
As strange or unlikely as it may seem, it was whilst playing the game 'Guitar Hero - World Tour' that I happened upon Hayley Williams and Paramore, with the track 'Misery Business'. My sincere thanks go to the creators of the game for introducing me to the group!
There is not a single bad track on 'Riot!' and I am regularly found to be listening to the album in its entirety. At the time of writing this review it is currently available for £4.99, an absolute steal, though it would be well worth purchasing at double the price.
LOVE IT!!

I'd been curious about Paramore ever since they release their Twilight song, Decode, and decided to get my hands on a copy of their album.
I listened to it once, but i must admit that I wasn't paying any attention to it what so ever, so the second time a few months later was when I really started to realise how good it was.
Frm the second time I listened to it, my favourites were (and still are) Misery Buisness, That's what you get and Crushcrushcrush. But the best thing is the more I listen to it, the more songs I start to absolutely adore. I listened to it yesterday, and When it Rains and We are broken have suddenly became part of my favourites list.
Please, please, please if you love their Twilight song, get the album. It is truly breath taking.
Hopefully, soon I'll get The Final Riot, and I'd love to go to a Paramore concert. This album definately deserves 5 stars. Maybe even 6.

Amazing band amazing album all of the members are extremely talented the stand out member of course being hayley williams who has an outstanding voice and her voice always seems to go well with the songs she is singing. In my opinion the songs and the album are a lot better harder and faster than all we know is falling however there are some good songs off that album including whoa , emergency etc but i just feel that the songs on this album have more time effort and emotion put into them and that's make it an awesome album from start to finish! Buy now and you won't regret it!
Best Album ever!!

The first time i listened to this CD only a few tracks stuck out for me but after constantly listening to the Album, at least once a day, i found myself singing along to all the tracks! If i had to pick my favourite track it would have to be 'For a pessamist, i'm pretty optimistic', but like i said you'll fall in love with all the songs. Hayley is, in my opinion is the most talented, amazing female vocalist of today and of a tender age of 20...and i also fancy the pants off her lol.
In my honest opinion, ''Riot!'' Is the best Album i've ever bought. =)
Next stop is watching them LIVE, which will be amazing.
Best Band EVer!

I got this album on day of release and iI just decided to write a review now :P Riot is an amazing album released by the amazing band from Tenesee 'Paramore'! If you were to compare this album to their previous album 'All We Know Is Falling' then I'd have to say its very different, I find its alot more catchy than AWKIF but not as heavy as some of their previous songs (Emergency, My Heart). This album is a must buy for everyone!! Seen them live Feb'08, they were amazing!! Can't wait for new album this year!!!
incredible
