i bought that album recently (few days ago), i didnt know akercocke before, all i knew was that they play death metal, and they did. On this album they play it for something like three and half min. rest is more like late anathema if you looking for some good black death metal try this (belphegor - Lucifer Incestus) price the same and music so much better

The best album from Akercocke, the best album I own, simple as that. Antichrist has so many dimensions, one minute its a 270 blast then to some dark trance atmosphere, to a beautiful "pop" song. Just amazing.

A MUST BUY!

I bought this album only today (29/05/07), I can't stop listening to it, the last Akercocke album "Words That Go Unspoken Deeds That Go Undone" was a brilliant album, 5 out of 5, and in my opinion "Antichrist" is even better, for me its off the scale. It truly is a brilliant album, a great follow up to "Words That Go Unspoken Deeds That Go Undone", this sticks with Akercocke's later prog-metal and their original black metal roots. The music is extreme but at the same time harmonic with brilliant vocals.
A truly great album, I can see this being my album of 2007.
