................writing anymore about this guy,he simply can't do any wrong!! Ok so I'm biased as have been a fan of the Boss for over 30 years, yet still he never fails to deliver. This is a stunning live set that shouldn't be compared to anything else he's ever done as it's such a huge move from all his previous work. The main thing with a Springsteen show is that EVERYONE has a great time both on and off the stage. We Shall Overcome is a great studio album and was always going to be a hit live, but the re-workings of old songs like Highway Patrolman,Atlantic City,Blinded By The Light etc are incredible. Just buy it and see what REAL rock music is all about and how a live show should be put on! Can't wait to see what he does next.

Not his best live cd but then the absence of the E Street band would never make for an amazing cd. But the sessions band is still very good. And lets face it, Bruce knows exactly how to conduct a great live show. A fitting end to a worthwhile project.

Went to 3 of the UK shows in November 2006 and can honestly say that they were the equal of all the great nights between 1981 and 2005 when he toured alone or with the E Streeters. The bottom line with this guy is that he could sing Happy Birthday adding a few horns or strings, alter the tune to make it unrecognisable from the original, and still make it sound like the best thing ever. Just take a listen to 'If I should fall behind' and then drop a line to Dylan and tell him THAT'S how to re-work a song!

Well what can one say when the True Boss comes to town. I went to the first 2 nights in Dublin (Friday and Saturday) and the last night in Belfast (Tuesday) of the incrediable Seeger Sessions tour and there is one song in particular that leaves a lasting memory from those shows is befitting of our land here - We shall Overcome even now it sends tears down my eyes for the simple reason Bruce delivered what he set out to do. Everyone who left those Dublin and Belfast shows were in no doubt, the old boss was dead long live The New Boss. Artists come and go but few deliver, those nights in Dublin he certainly deliverd all the aces. The fact is when Bruce kicked off at 20.30 pm on that Friday night in The Point Theatre he played non-stop right to the very end very few performers can sustain such intensity and carry a gig off that would be to us punters unforgettable those night were UNFORGETTABLE!!!!!!! The fact was he had the right set list for such an occassion u would not have heard a pin drop when he played When the Saints go Marchin In for example true professional when on an occassion fans got excited Bruce up there in a 3 piece type suit believe it or not just sweated and grinned all the way through. Highlights for me being a true Irish Cowboy was Jesse James and the band really came to the point of no return when they delivered Mrs. McGrath to a manic Dublin crowd my god those musicans up there did enjoy themselves. Finally the song that also left a memory to me was Jacob's Ladder I thought Bruce was never gonna stop and the highlight of the night Bruce lying exhausted over the top of the piano as if he had not a breath left in the world. Dublin was a case of the time the music and the performer - A MOMEMT IN TRUE HISTORY FOR DUBLIN TOWN......

I went to the Birmingham and both the Wembley, London concerts and they were awesome. The Sessions Band are a wonderful band of musicians providing an unbelievable concert experience. I actually thought, they were better than The E Street Band, that is how good they are! I have seen every major artist in the world live, and this was the best concerts ever!

The type of music is a mixture of New Orleans Jazz, Swing, Folk, Gospel, Rock and Irish traditional.

Springsteen reinvents his own catalogue with totally new interptetations like the brilliant Open All Night, awesome Blinded By The Light, and majestic Atlanitic City.

Other highlights include American Land, This Little Light Of Mine, Jesse James, How Can A ppor Man ..and Erie Canal, but basically everything is essential.

Only down points are that there is no John Henry, which opened virtually every show and was played at all the Irish gigs and no You Can Look, which was very entertaining and played throughout the tour nearly every night.

I guess these will appear on the Super-duper Limited Edition.
