A great soundtrack full of some different and varied tracks, especially my favourite being This Moment by Disturbed, however the last track really spoils the cd in my view. Its a cover of the original transformers theme by a group called Mute Math and its god awful, I cringe everytime I hear it, a great theme turned into some distorted, ear bleeding mess, otherwise apart from that a great soundtrack

Could've been 5 stars if not for that last song.
The transformers coming from space with that beautiful music to help them along the way was brilliant.
Why spoil it by adding......words can't describe the disappointment......that final song.

If you liked the 80's songs from the movie, there is nothing here. Except for a couple of songs, its just the classic aggressive heavy metal you hear in most of these Hollywood action-disaster-whatever-fiction-like movies. This album has music from "and inspired by" the movie witch means almost half of the songs are not in the film at all. It looks like to me they are trying to "promote" some bands through this album and although I bought it, I wouldn't recommend it.

Personally, I love it. I wouldn't disagree with any of these songs, even though they don't all appear in the movie. I find myself listening to it on repeat, perhaps with a couple of songs out. Goo Goo Dolls is a slower song in the middle of more 'lively' (for want of a better word) songs, but it's a very nice song. I suppose it's up to a person's personal preference as to how much they like the Transformers theme at the end of the list, but transformers aside it's a good list. Personally I bought it because I loved the film, and I'm feeling about the opposite of regret -I suppose I even underestimated how much I would like it.

Every song helps you relive the excitement and fun-packed action from the movie. The transformers theme at the end is a pleasant and perfect way to end the soundtrack.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars An average soundtrack but worth a listen

As a huge fan of the movie I just had to buy the soundtrack for michael bay's transformers. The 12 tracks that feature are what you would expect from a big loud summer blockbuster, big loud rock and often like the transformers themselves, full of heavy metal. Overall a decent listen if your into rock with standout tracks including linkin park's:what i've done, The Used with Pretty handsome awkward and Julien-K's Technical Difficulties. Mutemath's cover of the transformers theme is dull and they should have used Black Lab's much better version. All-in-all worth a listen.

One of the better soundtracks which have come out this year. The last track which is a rendition of the classic t.v. theme sucks ass though.
