This band is a true original, amazing lyrics, amazing hard rocking music that match any great punk band. I'd love to see them live.If anyone out there still try to get a ticket for the LED ZEPPELIN's concert, save your money, buy this record instead.L Z did made few great records in their prime, but they have never made a record as great as this!
You should be buying this!

Seriously, if you've never heard of them before - think Eastern European Pogues and you're close. Really fun, clever lyrics, amazing beats, fantastic energy and the perfect antidote to anyone who has overdosed on boy bands and manufactured reality show rubbish! Genre defying but it will definitely put a smile on your face - impossible not to love them!
my honnest opinion

Western music seems to lack originality nowadays, everythings seem to of already been done,
that was until gogol bordello emirged on the scene, led by minor actor Eugene hutz, these
eastern europeans who are based in new york fuse traditional eastern european gypsy music
with raw punk influences.
8 years into their caraer they release their fifth album Super Taranta,
the opener starts out with just euguenes ukraniene voice singing alone a scream of
"yeah" and in comes the bouncy catchy gypsy influence as the song progresses in comes
a section that shows off their more punkier roots its fast and punky yet honnestly fun
its like nothing youve ever heared before,
as it manages to still incorprite the eastern sound. claps and catchy hooks and breakdowns
means that this wont be a song you'll forget anytime soon.
next in is the infectiously catchy and even more bouncy track Wonderlust king
but standout track has to be Harem In Tuscany (Taranta) its one of those songs you seem to like but dont know exactly
why its prefered over anything else
this band really work best when theyre doing the faster songs, on the few moments of the album where they slow down
such as Dub The Frequencies Of Love something seems to go missing Tribal Connection works well as a slow track with quite a dub/reggae sort of influenced
sound although it doesnt really fit into the album well and would of made a better bside
towards the end there seems to be asuccession of slower tracks it isnt untill Suddenly...(I Miss Carpaty)
that things get back into flow and even then it has quite a contained sound, then comes more dreaery tracks.
this band has to be approached with a certain amount of open mindedness its quite easy to simply dismiss them as a gimmick
band, but a full listen to this album should prove that the
overall this album is very similar to previous effor gypsyworld:underdog strikes
but it should be enough to keep fans happy and help increase the fan base
starts out very well but seems to get a bit boring towards the end
Amazing Band, Amazing Album
