I've known about pendulum for a while and thought they were alright, but a friend offered me a ticket to see them live last night and they absolutely blew me away. I bought their album today and its absolutely amazing! If you like drum and bass, buy this album! If you dont, buy it anyway.
Fantastic - best CD ever

I was introduced to Pendulum earlier this year. I was curious as I am not into hardcore drum and bass, however I bought this album first and I can't stop playing it. It is drum and bass with dance and a great beat. Not too hard, not too soft. Really recommend to music lovers who love all types of music. Best tracks - all of them are excellent.

Awesome album.
Yeah, Pendulum cross rock and dance music but this album is clearly heavily dance-influenced, and that's why it rocks so much!
Each and every track is an anthem in itself, and they have the best beats ever- perfect for insane, drunk dancing to!
Great for high speeds

Listened to this album over and over quad biking through the desert in Egypt, absolutley awesome, I'm really not a d'n'b fan but i love a lot of the tracks: fasten your seat belt, blood sugar and slam especially. Listening to it on motorstorm is nothing compared to the real thing but a good second place. They're not bad live either(the album spurred me on enough to travel for gig)
BEST ALBUM EVER

My mate introduced me to pendulum a while back, and it has changed my life lol. Its such a hyped up sound its crazy, you havent lived till you hear pendulum. They are an original take on drum and bass, they took what the prodigy started, and showed them how its done!
Great Music..Poor Editing

I really like this album, but there is 1 thing that really annoys me, and thats the editing. The album tracks dont fade together, each track ends with about a 3 second silent pause between them. Gets very annoying when the next track is supposed to follow on exactly where the previous left off.
Some really really nice tracks, but on the whole too long

There's a few really really nice tracks on this album, but on the whole it suffers from trying to fill a full 72 minute CD. There's stuff included that would have been better as "bonus material" hidden somewhere else, so I find that it can get a bit repitetive to listen to the whole thing. This is where your mp3 player and the delete key will come in handy. Some nice memories of playing Motorstorm with Pendulum in the background.
Awesome

Well this is the new version of Hold Your Colour. And I think it's an outrage that they have re-mastered and ruined some of the tracks. To top it all the Prelude to the Slam song has a 4 second gap before it goes onto Slam track. Someone said in there review that it's an Amateurly re-mastered from the original Hold Your Colour and I have to agree with them. I am angry by the fact that you can no longer get the original album of Hold Your Colour. Get the original, this is where the internet comes in handy (if you know what I mean) ;). A real shame, Pendulum are simply class and the original is what made them shine.
Well £5 it's not a waste of money, for me the biggest disappointment is you can no longer buy the original.
For Pendulum original Hold Your Colour I rate it 5 STARS and 5 STARS for Pendulum.
Just one other thing if you are like me and only just getting into Pendulum, not only avoid this Album the new version also avoid Sillico there newest Album. They completely changed there style and this will lead to a big disappointment.
Amazing

Different enough to warrant buying this version as well as the original - better than their newer album 'In Silico' which sadly was a dissappointment. It had no spark that Hold your colour had, buy this for the best pendulum experience.
