Their utterly unique sound makes this another brilliant album from Radiohead. The fact that they have the fan base to put it up for any price you want shows how good they are. I bet they still made a huge profit cause this album is worth top price.
Some songs are real masterpieces

Just how many more albums can Radiohead make of such quality? Other bands become very samey, or try to change and fail. Somehow Radiohead manage to change whilst staying the same and keep producing top quality albums. This album just gets better and better with each listen, and in my view a Radiohead classic already.
Beauty and the beats

Whats all this 'best since this' - 'best since that 'talk about? If an album can get any better then I don't know how. In Rainbows does it for me on every level and it gets better & better and stays fresh always.
I just can't stop listening to it!

There best since Kid A.
The most addictive listen since O.K. Computer.
Simply the best British Band of all time!
I cannot stop listening to this album, it's so beautiful, the music is fantastic. All I Need is the standout track for me, I look forward to it everytime. The others are great too. The most fearless band are back to their vintage best, their artistic values are always there, and Yorke has never sounded better. Bring out the Mercury, Ivor Novellos et all. This willl probably be the album of 2008!!
Masters at work. Superb!

If there is one thing you can guarantee, it is Radiohead delivering the goods time and again. This is the best work from them since Ok computer in my opinion and it just re-inforces the reason why they are one of Britains best bands. Keep it coming guys.

I'm a massive Radiohead fan but the last album that they released that I truly loved was Kid A. I think that their releases after that were a bit more experimental and while there were some great tracks to pick out, they weren't classics.
In Rainbows in my opinion is up there with the best of Radiohead and a classic album. I would go as far as to say that I believe 'All I Need' and 'House Of Cards' to be two of the greatest Radiohead songs I've ever heard. I don't think there is a weak track on this album and I've only ever said that about a few albums.
My advise is to buy this album because Radiohead truly are the Picassos of the music world and long may it continue.
the true genius of IR becomes clearer with every listen

quite often with radiohead albums i have thought upon my first listening "what's that?" but after a few plays you really do start to "get it" and after several listens, you really discover the depths of the genius in the work. i think this is quite possibly the best radiohead album yet - and definitely another wonderful example of their unique magic. i love it - the band are really together and thom yorke truly has the voice of an angel. do yourself a big favour and buy it :)
Goodness me.

This is quite simply one of the best albums I've ever had the fortune to have heard. The agonising wait of 'LP7' seemed interminable, and the dark winter months were illuminated with all the colours of the rainbow (ahem) when it was finally announced. This is one of the most coherent and consistently brilliant pieces of music I have available to me. The production on this record is phenomenal, and to maintain such consistency and flow in spite of so many different styles going on in one album simply outlines Radiohead's genius.
Total Brilliance

Looking at it basically Radiohead are a marketing managers dream, they have been marketed in just the same ways as say,The spice girls Reunion only with more finesse, over the months little snippets of information appear on websites that build up the excitement, their very public falling out with EMI was handled brilliantly, they have political views but don't shove them down your throat, they are The Spice Girls with Brains, and talent and they have produced a great album.
"15 Step"is an uptempo jazz influenced song that gets the proceedings of to a good start, with its eerie sounding guitar, great bass playing too.
"Bodysnatchers"continues in much the same way, with fuzzy guitars in some ways the tune is reminiscent of "See my friends"by the kinks.,listen out for the "Day Tripper"riff in the middle.
"Nude" is taken at a slower pace, and is slighly reminiscent of Sigur Ros ,lovely guitar sound, show of Thom Yorkes Voice to good effect,
"Wierd fishes/Arpeggi"is more upbeat again with a jazzy feel to it,good drumming, with a feeling of "the blue Nile"atmospherics that can be found on their "Hats" album
"All i need"is again a slow paced piece,at times Thoms voice is similar to Tim boothe of james again another fine performanmce from the band.
"Faust Arp" is beautiful again it shows its influences this time "Julia" by the Beatles, lovely song, with string quartet.
"Reckoner"is more classic Radiohead, this could have been on "Kid A" such is its strength,a piano, guitar, bass drums led song.
"House of cards"has a kind of retro sound to it that tha king of echo(Joe Meek)would be proud of.exteremly inventive and haunting.reminiscent of "Going Back"by the Byrds.
"Jigsaw falling into place" again an acoustic start that leads int a more upbeat song, this time sounding like Ray Davies of the afforementioned Kinks.
"Videotape" back to the more etherial sound that they are known for, asimple piano backing ,then drums precede the more full backing and close what is an album that shows Radiohead at the peak of their form and not fearing anyone .
With an album as good as this Radiohead have marketed themselves as a band to fear, whereas the Spice girls have also maketed themselves as a band to fear(ever getting back together again)
